This app is well informative with the professional pictures, which are with detailed camera settings, and the interactive questions from the home screen, gives you a good idea to manipulate your real-life photographic situation. This software exceeds my expectation. This software interacts very well in the iPhone OS interface. The designer did a marvelous job especially with the in-depth resource of photographic tips and as a apple developer!

This app is different from the other photography apps- it actually gives you a complete explanation WHY you should choose that shutter speed, aperture, etc. It is a great app to learn on, whether youre a beginner or advanced photographer. :)

I found this app to be informative and easy to use. It helps take the mystery out of the many camera settings that are often left unused. We like to buy fancy digital cameras and then set the control to AUTO and think that the money spent on the camera will magically make a National Geographic quality image for us. The truth is that your fancy (or not so fancy) camera CAN take a National Geographic quality image - but the chances of that happening while set to AUTO are slim to none. With this app the photographer gets a tool to 1) help think about the image they want to get before pressing the shutter and 2) the advice in simple and straight forward language to achieve that image. Highly recommended for anyone that wants to improve their photography with the camera they have - results are immediate and terrific.

Being relatively new to digital photography, this app is very helpful in determining what settings to use to produce beautiful images. A great tool for beginner to pro photographers alike. Great for the price as well! I love it!

I hesitated before buying, but after seeing the great reviews I went ahead and wasted a $. This app is informative but the layout and navigation is the worst Ive ever seen; could be 100x better. Needs a place to see all the settings in one simple screen. You would have read and scroll and squint to find any info. youre looking for. Plus, good luck tapping unless your finger is the size of a barbie dolls. More sample pics needed, and easy on the scrolling there. If you want an ebook, this is the app for you. If you want something thats helpful on the go, take notes and put them in your pocket. I could go on and on. You should get the idea. Im going to hold onto this for a little while (since I cant get my money back) in the hopes that they will read this review and make lots of changes. These other reviews must have been from the developers. Im sure next well see a review of how I dont know what Im talking about and this app is the greatest. Ive been in the business for many years. I look forward to writing another review telling you how totally awesome this is. Make it happen please!!!

I like the way everything is broken down. I think for iPhone all the buttons and sizing is ok. Anything bigger would present a challenge of fighting for screen real estate. What would make me pay $5 for this app is going into detail about in-studio lighting seeing as im already semi-familiar with dslr controls and how theyre used outside but maybe in the app a section about fresnels, lightboxes, strobes, beauty lights.. Etc. Maybe a separate app for scenarios like this one has if you cant do it with this? Great work and I look forward to updates.

Everything is clearly explained and I like how its broken down into different photo situations like sunsets or sports. Theres a lot of great info. Cant wait to use it more. Already picked up some useful tips in the first day with it. Looking forward to some updates!!!

My camera wouldnt take pictures properly and wouldnt take them at all sometimes. I downloaded this started at beginner pictures and it started working properly. After that I started using it and learned alot about photo taking. Awsome app. I would even recommend to my worst enemy.

This is an app that can go everywhere with you. Recently got a high end Canon and it came with a thin 7 page getting-started joke of a manual. The rest of the manual is on a PDF. This on the other hand is a blissfully accessible app that doesnt weight a ton. Reasonably priced. An must have app.

This app is a must have. It is user friendly and the author is clearly very knowledgeable on how to shoot photos. It covers a variety of topics as well. This is a great tool to have at your finger tips!! I think the update was great. The buttons are easier to push and the screens are easier to navigate.
